Integration Process

Evaluating Workflow, Technology, IT Networks and Infrastructure

VCA has a deep history and track record of success engineering highly complex audiovisual systems.

The lynchpin of our systems integration is a detailed process informed by four decades of experience. Through a holistic evaluation of systems, processes and use cases, we balance your needs, vision and desires with budget. Throughout the entire process, VCA’s accredited staff keeps up with high-paced scheduling by working as a team with other trades: general contractors, architects, electricians and others.

IN-DEPTH NEEDS ANALYSIS

Every good AV system begins with an in-depth needs analysis. Whether you are ready to go all-out and need complete systems integration for a new building or just want to upgrade certain components now for futureproofing, we’ll evaluate your organization’s current technology workflow, and how your current systems might be holding you back. Then we’ll talk about what you’d like to accomplish in the future, and how various solutions can help you get there.

1

ENGINEERING

Our world-class ENGINEERING team builds systems that create outcomes you can measure. They work in tandem with our applications specialists to collaborate across technology verticals and design complex systems that are easy to use. They all work with you to explore what technology would make your users more productive, more engaged, more inspired? What would bridge gaps amongst your users? How can we blend aesthetics with functionality?

2

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Who’s driving the implementation of your technology solutions? PROJECT MANAGEMENT success is about maintaining timelines within budget as much as it is about the technology, which relies on teamwork with the various departments and trades involved. It is about mitigating risk and open communication across the board when it comes to the expectations and establishing a plan to achieve them.

VCA Project Managers have decades of experience delivering systems and successfully juggling scope, timelines and budget to exceed expectations. The entire Technical Operations team has a proven track record of success in projects of every size and scope – from a single room to global deployments.

3

FABRICATION

In-house FABRICATION saves time, reduces costs and minimizes our intrusion onsite. We fabricate equipment racks and test and verify all systems in-house.

4

TESTING & VERIFICATION

TESTING & VERIFICATION is the key to ensuring the best performance and reliability from AV systems. Each system we build is tested in-house by the fabrication team, then fully tested again onsite by one of several specially trained Testing and Verification engineers.

5

INSTALLATION

Our fully trained and licensed INSTALLATION teams, under the supervision of a project manager, arrive to your site with shop-tested systems. Our goal is to make our presence as quick and minimally disruptive as possible. With nearly half of our staff in technical roles and thousands globally through our affiliates, we deliver systems when and where you need them.

6

SERVICE & SUPPORT

A formal internal sign off process is a requirement at each phase, including the transfer to our Service Team, which is responsible for any and all training, warranty items, and other post-installation services.
